About this listen

Gracie Cain is a healer. I'm Noah Jarvis, a cold-hearted killer.

We had one night. The best night. Then she thought she could strut out my front door and my life, right after announcing she was my best friend's baby sister.

"Give me a memory, Noah."

That's what she said...right after she rendered me stupid in the shadows at a wedding reception. I did everything I could to figure her out. She wore more veils of armor than I've seen in a lifetime. On the outside, she was strong and self-assured. But within those beautiful, guarded blues? She was laced with vulnerability and grief. She got the memory she wanted, but in the process, I was left branded.

When she ran, I had no choice but to follow. Not only did I go after her, I chased her halfway around the world. Because when it comes to her, one memory isn't enough. It doesn't matter that there couldn't be a more opposite pair than us.

But when my job came back to bite me in the ass, I wasn't the only one caught in the crossfire. It bought us memories no one was counting on. That's when all the veils were ripped off.

and kit swann just keeps getting better

I said I didn't connect with Grady or Asa in book 2 and 3 but when information from this book comes to light around the heroine with Grady I then understand his torture.
Gracei is cheeky but at times I wanted to slap her, she was a great procrastinator and i think Noah could have done better. it was either that, or at 27 yrs, gracie, despite her brothers9p disposition should have stuck to her guns regardless of her brothers
I was wondering how Jarvis was going to get-out of his work.
and sometimes Ms Asher's writing tone is a big build way way up high and then with a quiet little let down your breath is easier.
Noah is one hell of an alpha that's all I can say.
the story didn't wallow in pity feelings, but again, the seriousness of their predicament .
the stealth and military sides that this novel has moves along really well, but then the family issues come out and it seems to take the beautiful build up fizzle out.
Sure , Ms Asher has given us steam, the danger and the ask the HEA can
I liked it but I didn't love it.
Jason Clarke....what can I say...perfect, on his game and its bringing me to life.
Kit Swann, you hold no bounds. everything is engrossing. I'm going online to see if I can find more books
