Wie ihr Großvater Leonardo, Inhaber der beliebtesten Eisdiele der Stadt, sieht sie Gefühle als farbigen Nebel und besitzt damit die Fähigkeit, magisches Eis herzustellen. Bevor aus Elli jedoch eine Meisterin der Eismagie werden kann, muss sie das Handwerk erst bei ihrem Großvater lernen. Aber das geht Elli viel zu langsam! Lieber schleicht sie sich in Opas geheimes Eislabor und mischt ein wildes Quatsch-Eis zusammen. Doch als sie dieses Eis ihren Mitschülern serviert, droht die Situation völlig außer Kontrolle zu geraten.
