About this listen
Reunited with his crew aboard the frigate HMS Themis, Captain Charles Hayden is ordered by the Admiralty to the West Indies to carry war to the French among their own islands.
Before he makes port in Barbados, the Themis intercepts a single boat adrift in the middle of the ocean - its sole occupants, two young Spanish noblemen. But not is all as it seems with Hayden’s unexpected guests.

Change of narrater was a disaster, spoiled the book.
I was left up in the air at the finish, is there another book to follow?

A change of narrator has spoiled this book.
This four book series is excellent. Unfortunately this last book in the series has seen a change of narrator. The first three books were read by Nick Boulton who brilliantly brought the characters to life with very strong personalities, not just in tone but in pace and with very personal characteristics. Those personalities have all but disappeared in this last book. The new narration is just dead and flat. Such a shame.

Bad change of narrator
Bad change of narrator ruined continuity of this otherwise good series. It feels like there could have been more books to continue the series
