I love Cora Brent books

This was a good read, not as good as the Gentry saga. I felt like punching Jack in the face for being a dumb ass. I wish Claudia told him what’s shit man whoring drunk asshole he was to her through childhood. The fact that he couldn’t understand as an adult what her issues were when he now had another child he fired on because he was ready to be a parent. 3.5 stars purely based on the fact Jack needed to grow some balls and Claudia needed to tell him he was a prick!

Did not finish

Loved the other books by this author so was keen for another can't put down book. This one had little substance to the story line. Could've been so much better!
