The only trouble is, Santiago Garza, Unrequited’s broody, scowly bassist, doesn’t want me in his band, which is kind of funny, considering he was the one who took my heart and stomped all over it five years ago.

My career is far more important than hurt feelings though, so Santiago can suck it up and deal. That’s what I’m doing, no matter how many times I remember the feel of his lips on mine. I won’t fall for him this time. I’m done being anyone’s second choice.

a rock star romance moving at a good pace

normally I'm a kris Michael's kinda listener but I do like the rockstar gigs. like kylie Scott's dive bar series or for a deeper, a little darker and more intense series(depending on what book your reading) carain Cole's ember and ashes series.
but I gotta say for a first read of this author I was pleasantly surprised and laughed a lot. haven's references to the male anatomy had me laughing out loud heaps and the story clipped along at a good pace keeping me interested and not dragging it's chapters.
narrator's were great, loved Matt's gravely voice(s) and Amanda did a fantastic georgia peach accent.
plot line has been around awhile but it was Interesting....a few run of the mill jump the gun hiccups on behalf of heroine and some bigger run of the mill Dick moves from the atypical hero, hence haven's antics ...lol but it was sassy, hot, interesting, funny, alpha...
