Very confusing

missing sections made storyline confusing example POSSIBLE SPOILERS one minute there is a car crash and they have no phone to call for help the next they are in hospital no mention of how also NEITHER a paramedic OR a police chief notice bruises ?? could have been a great book if it was longer and more explanations were given
