Publisher's Summary

Dublin, Ireland and Richmond, Virginia: separated by thousands of miles - linked by murder.

Five dismembered, beheaded bodies were found in Ireland five years ago - now four have been discovered in the States. But the tenth corpse in Virginia is different. A copy-cat killing. Ghoulish, perhaps, but not unusual. Then abject terror grips Scarpetta and her colleagues when the next body is found with a clear and horrifying message: the killer is armed with the most lethal weapon on earth - smallpox.

A sadistic serial killer, the weapon a deadly virus. The eighth novel in the best-selling Dr Kay Scarpetta series.

Great story but....

The narration was terrible. It ruined a great story. Ms Critt seemed to ignore the punctuation and got the voices all wrong. Much too harsh.

Good story but stopped audio at halfway through chapter 22

Got half way through chapter 22 & it wouldn’t continue. Even tried other chapters.
Disappointing as I was enjoying the storyline.

Struggled to stay engaged with the storyline. The ending was a bit of a let down.

narrator

I cant get into the story, as the narrator isn't very good. They might be a nice person, but playing different characters isn't their strong suit. I cant listen to it. Sorry
