They want to exterminate us. Every last one of us.
A surprise attack has sent the Star Alliance fleeing for its life. A remnant of a remnant, their meager fleet—all that remains alive—flees to what seems like a safe harbor: a forgotten backwater planet called Earth.
Join ace fighter pilot Chase as he teams up with the modern-day militaries of Earth and fights the last battle for the universe.

Best I’ve listened too
The only disappointing thing about this is, book 8 through 17 are not available on audible.
That’s like giving a kid a ps5 for Christmas without the cords.
Deadset these books had me hook from book 1 through 7. I might have to go into rehab now until the next books are released on audible.

Where’s the rest of it??
A good listen overall but not being able to hear the rest of the books is disappointing. You knew in the last chapter this wasn’t going to be resolved. One can only hope the rest are narrated soon.

Overall better than the sum of its parts
Popcorn sci-fi opera that despite its flaws provides hours of entertainment. And it gets better the further you get into it.

For teenagers and very cliché
The overall plot is fine but borrows heavily from all tv and movie sci fi that has come before.
It’s written with very simple descriptions and language. There are tender moments that are super cringey and over done, these the narrator really gets into.
This is very much like at TV series attempt in book, with your typical characters, extreme explosions and action, and problem after problem for the goodies.
Couldn’t get past second main book.

Weird Values Vegans go to war
Apparently morally advanced DNA matching aliens whose ancestors left earth thousands of years ago and all sound like various versions of Luc Picard but have Ancient Greek names are still fighting never ceasing wars where they happily murder, disembowel, and generally kill each other in the most repugnant methods in minute detail yet are appalled at the thought of eating meat.
Maybe the universe would be better off if they all just had a good steak and a beer and got over their mightier than thou attitude. I was rooting for the bad guy in this horribly produced with ill sounding add ins of completely unnecessary additional detail. If only he could had finished them all and saved us from the poor imitation of old colonial elitist moralising. Now we’re is my BBQ and yes I want a nuclear reactor in my back yard.
