About this listen

When The Universe Next Door was first introduced nearly 30 years ago, it set the standard for a clear, readable introduction to worldviews.

In concise, easily understood prose, James W. Sire explained the basics of theism, deism, naturalism, nihilism, existentialism, Eastern monism, and the new consciousness. This has been translated into several languages and used as a text at over one hundred colleges and universities in courses ranging from apologetics and world religions to history and English literature.

informative but Tedious

Very factual and informative. Although I found Sire to add too many opinions g
throughout the book, instead of giving a general idea of the world view.

It's not a book I would want to read without the audio book along side. but it is also a book I wouldn't want to listen to without the physical book to refer to.

I read the Firth Ed. along side this, as it is the newest and required for my Uni studies. So I often had to pause the audio to read through the book, then find my place once I began listening again.

Good book but...

Unfortunately while the content is good the chapters are out of sync so you have to go looking for them and one chapter appears to be missing although, not a good look, first time I've run into this issue.
