Publisher's Summary
Brought to you by Penguin.
The thoughtful and revealing memoir from one of the world's most recognisable women, renowned for her bold risk-taking, multiculturalism and activism.
I am a product of traditional India and its ancient wisdom, and modern India and its urban bustle. My upbringing was always an amalgamation of the two Indias, and, just as much, of East and West.
Unfinished takes listeners from Priyanka's childhood in India, where she was raised by her grandparents and her parents - two army doctors committed not only to their children but to their careers and to philanthropy - before being sent away to boarding school at an early age, through her formative teenage years in the US living with extended family in the Midwest (Cedar Rapids and Indianapolis), Queens, and suburban Boston, where she endured bouts of racism, to her return to India, where she unexpectedly won the national and global beauty pageants (Miss India and Miss World) that launched her acting career.
Listeners looking for a glimpse into what it takes to succeed in the massive Indian film industry will find it here and they'll also find an honest account of the challenges Priyanka faced navigating her career, both in India and Hollywood. The result is a book that is warm, funny, sassy, inspiring, bold and rebellious. Just like Priyanka herself.
From her dual-continent 20-year-long career as an actor and producer to her work as a UNICEF Goodwill ambassador, from losing her beloved father to cancer to marrying Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra Jonas' story will inspire a generation around the world to gather their courage, embrace their ambition and commit to the hard work of following their dreams.

Finished it in a day
While listing to this book I felt, I was their with her. Her story takes you through her life from boarding school, to America, to miss world and all the way through to her writing desk, her home into her dreams and aspirations.
You feel the emotions she is going through wether as a child or an adult. The need for attention as a child, grief of loosing someone so close or the numbness after the loos. Even though priyanka is a celebrity her emotions are human with which she connect and inspire us.

Up there with the best memoirs
I enjoyed every minute of this memoir. Priyanka’s narration of her own story is beautiful to listen to. The story flows along and you really feel that Priyanka had shared the story of her life so far with us as well as many words of wisdom we can apply in our own lives.

Amazing accomplishments for a young Indian Woman.
I have been curious about Priyanka Chopra since I saw my first teaser for Quantico. She was the actress that made me want to watch that TV show. To see what she has accomplished so far in her life, and the courage she applies to her challenges makes me want to try harder also.

Powerful mesmerising story
Engaging, Priyanka is not only a great author and narrator, she exudes love, confidence and resilience. I will be refering to this, especially to female students in my role as a teacher. Loved it so much, listened almost without a pause x

Thank you for sharing… for human story telling and reminding us what it takes to create kind change in the world
Fascinating human story of one person growing up globally and finding her voice … and what can happen next with strong figurehead parents and extended families, and many deep conversations. That you for showing an unconventional path… and gore it evolved. Thank you, Priyanka, for sharing, and encouraging us all to build our spaces.

A bit of a disappointment
I admire Priyanka Chopra and when I heard about this book, I was super excited. Maybe my expectations were too high. It felt emotionless. The stories were dull. Expected much more discussion about her movies and more about her relationships.
