Heartwarming story

This book was quite emotional and I definitely didn’t see it coming. It’s so different to what I was expecting! There’s sadness & loss, plot twists that I definitely didn’t see coming at all & the sweetest happily ever after. I definitely shed a few tears reading this one so be warned it’s a bit of a roller coaster for your emotions.

The story itself I felt was fast paced. The relationship between the 2 main characters blossoms incredibly fast and straight after tragedy strikes. I found it a little too unbelievable as I was reading it but by the end of the book after the plot twist is revealed I found it was meant to be that way for a reason.

The characters were all amazing and really likeable. The friends group was awesome and I loved how the H’s sister was a part of the group. The H was super growly & protective of the h. He was so sweet though both to the h and his baby. It was super swoon worthy. Also I loved how amazing both the families of the main characters were. They were all so supportive & I loved how in love both of their parents were. It was just so sweet!

Although I wouldn’t say this is a steamy book, there are a couple of sweet intimate scenes.

The narration was good. Teddy is always amazing! I did need to get used to the female at first but by the end I really felt she fit the character.

Awesome

This was an awesome romance story. At the start I was a bit unsure about how the characters would meet because they don't see each other until a few chapters have passed. Waiting was definitely beneficial though because most of the facts were laid down before they met and then the rest of the story was mainly just getting to know each character. This has a HEA which is amazing and definitely leaves you feeling soft. The narration was amazing also and definitely helped give more life to the characters. The next books in the series are stories for other people but in the same setting and in that timeline (I am assuming). If you think you will like this book, I would definitely recommend it to you. I know I loved listening to it and I hope you do too. Enjoy!

It was ok

The narration was very good. Enjoy both narrators. The story line was ok, and interesting plot twist.

Baby overload

Firstly, the narrators were great. They were probably the main reason I kept listening
However, I nearly DNF many times. It was 80% - 90% baby focused, and the minority was romance.
The connection between the father and baby was well done and most characters were warm and idealised. Unfortunately, for me it was often boring and had a lot of unnecessarily detailed passages about the minutiae of baby care.. details of shopping lists, baby care, baby routine etc.
Another problem was that a drama would happen ( usually through unlikely coincidences). Then when the main character told someone else about it, he would run through everything that happened yet again.. even though we'd already read all that.
There were some other things but that is the gist of it. Not the best by the author for me
