Publisher's Summary
Love him or loathe him, ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson is an icon and one of the most fascinating sporting figures of our time. In this no-holds-barred autobiography, Tyson lays bare his demons and tells his story: from poverty to stardom to hell and back again
In this, his first, autobiography, ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson pulls no punches and lays bare the story of his remarkable life and career. Co-written with Larry Sloman, author of Antony Keidis’s best-selling memoir ‘Scar Tissue’, this is a visceral, and unputdown-able story of a man born and raised to brutality, who reached the heights of stardom before falling to crime, substance abuse and infamy.
Full of all the controversy and complexity that you would expect from a man who delighted as much as he shocked, this is a book that will surprise people and reveal a fascinating character beneath the exterior of violence.
If you think you know all about Mike Tyson, read this book and think again.

a man's life
Despite each person being unique in their start in life; life circumstances; culture; beliefs or values, I don't know if there would be a young who would have acted any different if they found themselves in the situation as a young Mike Tyson after becoming heavyweight champ of the world. I'm sure I would have become an addict of the same vices. The demons Mike talks about I feel all men face in some shape or form at different times in their life.
I think this has some good teachings on how to become a champ; what it is to be a man; and, an interesting story about a boxing great.
Best narrated book I've listened to in the 3 years of listening to audible books - it was more like someone telling a story, rather than narrating a book.
Highly recommended.

So open and honest
I’ve followed Mike’s career and life from afar but never understood the struggle, highs and desperate lows he encountered. Beautiful story.

One of the most interesting autobiographies I have read
Joshua Henry narrates Mike Tysons Undisputed Truth in such a way that you can really feel the thoughts and feelings Mike had when recapping his training, fights, experiences, and fighting personal demons.
The story itself is a story like no other. Highly recommended if you’re a boxing fan, or even just curious about the man Mike Tyson was, and who he has become.

A very sad but interesting story.
Mike is very honest and open about his sad and at times disgusting life. He speaks from the perspective of an older and wiser, but still broken man that regrets much of his life. It's well told and well read. I'd recommend it but it's not for the prudish.

Great Read
I'm a big fan of Mike Tyson... more so the Mike Tyson who turned his life around when he began to find himself after boxing. But off course Mike Tyson the boxer was one of the most exciting to watch when in full swing. The story of he and Evander Holyfield in and out of the ring is always a great one for me. 2 guys I have a lot of respect for as boxers and people. Brutally honest and candid this read. Highly recommend.
