Undead or Breathing is the story of three rough-edged, thrill-seeking brothers in rural Colorado, whose world turns upside down when their parents contract a strange illness that makes them want to bite. Victims of the disease are uncoordinated and psychotic, their former thought processes narrowed down to just one phrase, which they repeat mindlessly in wheezy, rasping bursts.
The boys have logged countless gaming hours shooting zombies. They’ve seen hundreds of zombie-related episodes on TV. Naturally, they have an ingrained reflex to protect themselves and the rest of the world. Everyone knows what you do with a zombie. Headshot. No questions. No remorse. But these zombies are the boys’ parents!
