Incredible

From the first until now, this series has kept me on the edge of my seat. There is still so much I want to know.

Engaging performance, well written

Another brilliant entry into the series.
The tournament arc was handled well, with plenty of character development sprinkled in throughout.

Good read, but some power lvl contradiction.

Another great addition to the series, however the power lvl of some attacks are in contradiction and a bit all over the place at times.

Was expecting more.

For how much the tournament was built up I thought that there would be more factions and stratergy with a dash of intrigue thrown in. Yet lindons shot was so lame. all it came down 2 was that the opponent was faster, better luck next time.... even the abad9n had to insert itself into his life because how lame that ending was.

Dear Mr. Rowe

That isn't a cliffhanger, that is throwing us off a cliff while saying "long live the king". You made them fight? Fury should have his own series... or just replace lindon with the adventures of fury. Please tell me dross is going to get the fatherly attention he so obviously craves in the next book. Can we have more of Orthos and his blind friend?
In conclusion, mixed happy and angry bell noises.

(Some) Things Get Serious

Events finally get serious as the tournament begins and featuring an unexpected but amazing showdown. A brilliant listen with a fantastic narrator - But why won't these kids just kiss already! Cannot wait to see where the adventure leads next

Terrible ending

The book was great but I really disliked the ending, it was pithy and try’s to exceed the story, a little disappointed

Tournament Book

Do you like the fights in this series? If so, this book is for you! Unlike previous books this one is pretty much just straight up fight after fight after fight. Lindon and Yerin enter a fighting competition, and we watch them battle their way through a host of one on one battles. It's a fun book, with some great chemistry, but I did yearn for a little more variety by the end.
