Publisher's Summary
Whether it be the hero of legends or the character in a game, few things are more defining than Class.
Except maybe Class isn't always static. Tank, DPS, healer, and more. They are all just different sides of fate's die.
Taken from life as an office drone by a trickster god, Tim finds himself in the magical world of Iocusinte, where change is his only constant. It grants him great potential, enough to be sought out by different factions looking to use him for their own ends.
That potential, however, is mercurial. His Class and very appearance shift at random.
If Tim is to survive long enough to enjoy this new world and the friends he's making, then he'll have to solve the riddle of his nature and learn to master the uncontrollable.
Experience the next LitRPG saga from Amazon Bestseller Sean Oswald. It’s perfect for fans of Dakota Krout, Luke Chmilenko, and Troy Osgood.

Hooked
Hooked from the very beginning. Hoping the second book is as good as the first.

A promising start.
Uncontrollable is full of potential to grow and become classic litrpg, after some revision.
The author tends to use cliche similies, such as those found in preteen "creative writing" exercises, coupled with some naive ideas. The protagonist asking too many questions is a daft idea, especially as they're trying to learn about the world they've arrived in...making for a weak device.
Despite this the story still flows and builds.
At times the narrator is fully keyed into the characters and their nuances, only to then oroduce a voice that sounds like your 4 year old nephew pretending to voice a hero character.
These points aren't insurmountable and this tale is still worth a listen. Give it a go.

Very solid
Interesting and well paced, this book is good. The writing can be a bit clunky at times, and there were some typos in the middle, however the narration was great and I enjoyed the listening experience overall.

Not a bad book. worth a read for free
I gave this book 5 stars because it was included in prime and didn't cost me anything. For that it's definitely worth a look as something to get you through commute. All this said, I don't think I would purchase the sequel if I had pay for it.

Lacklustre story, annoying narrator inflection.
Really isn't the greatest story, seems like a cookie cutter litrpg. the language is simple and the character is pretty one dimensional.
Some of the rediculous dialog or sentences are made worse by the narrators inflection. his voice goes up at the end of every line, like the guy that narrates american action movie trailers..
"this spriNGGG, you'll be taken to a whole new WORLDDDD, his body is changINGGGG, hes got powERRRS"
it was so off-putting, I hoped it would go away after a few chapters, because most narrators need to get comfortable with their material...but it didn't.
I've listened to about 100 litrpg books.. this just didn't cut it for me
