Human Endeavour
This is an outstanding story of true human endeavour in terms of what a person is capable of surviving and what that does to them as a result as well as the horrible truth of what we as humans are capable of doing to other humans.

Amazing story of overcoming despite circumstances
I normally read business type books, but I'd heard about this story. It didn't disappoint as I enjoyed it getting through hours at a time while traveling.

Really well written and performed. Is also a jaw gaping story.

exceptional
i am love stricken by this book, the detailed account of loui's life vastly out-weighs the movie; to which i'm dissapointed that i had experienced first instead of this masterpiece; i will be replaying this book many times over and encouraging anyone that this is a story that you can't possibly put down. what a blessing that this exists.

Amazing story of survival
I don’t often like war stories but this book was brilliant. The story needs to be heard to be believed. I love the history waved in in an interesting way. I also loved the writers ability to tell the story without over glorifying the actions of people. Ten out of ten for me. Thanks a lot
