Felipe es un topo que aparece en el jardín de la casa de Quique y su hermano pequeño, Teo. El topo les explica que hace mucho rato que corría por los túneles y galerías que había hecho bajo tierra y que no conseguía encontrar el camino hacia su casa.
Resulta que todos los agujeros tenían alguna trampa. Felipe está muy triste y Quique y Teo le quieren ayudar. Para eso tendrán que bajar bajo tierra. Junto a Felipe, los dos hermanos vivirán una aventura subterránea, descubrirán todo un mundo y cuando vuelvan a subir a la superficie serán conscientes de lo que hay bajo sus pies y lo importante que es respetarlo.
