About this listen
Two Vows and a Viscount
Ella works as an unpaid housekeeper to her usurping uncle . . . until she meets her cousin's fiancé, Lord Peregrine. A charming, witty version of Cinderella from bestselling author Eloisa James.
Miss Ella St. Trevelyon lives in the attic of her former home, her only companions a pet squirrel and a three-legged cat. Then one night she accompanies her cousin Fulvia to the theatre, where she meets a man of prince-like wealth, with forceful features and insolent manners.
Unfortunately, Lord Peregrine is engaged to marry Fulvia.
Fiennes Peregrine is not a man who would ever chase after a woman waving a shoe. But he is a man used ti getting what he wants.
And he wants Ella.

Interesting Romantic Tale well worth a listen
I liked this story with HEA and an interesting last chapter - a bit different but I enjoyed it. Well developed characters, well written and good narration by Felicity Foster
Look forward to book 3

Brilliant joyful and restorative
I have loved this series. The way that the author has dovetailed the characters, ladies Bea and Ella with their wonderful men, Jonah and Fienes is excellent. And well done.
I am very excited to read about the next two books in the series.
Thank you Eloisa and narrator Felicity Foster and Audible Books too.

Surprisingly mediocre
I expected to enjoy this more than I did. The best bits were the unbelievably horrible things two of the characters said and did - well-written and somewhat genius in the way they were conceived. Poignant aspects of the story were less well developed, and there were some surprising anachronisms (for this author) eg mentioning George IV as preceding the Prince Regent. I thought the epistolary additions at the end were much more interesting than the conventional, trite Epilogues that many authors include.
The narration did not help. Some strange mispronunciations, male characters represented at a confusingly similar pitch to females, and unexciting story-telling.
