Good book, terrible male reader

I really enjoyed the book, but I was so put off by the male reader. The way he read the story was honestly just terrible. No warmth, even in areas of the script that should have warmth. It was robotic and just really really bad! Currently listening to the second book in the series and it’s the same guy, and I’m just about ready to swap to the physical book
