About this listen

The line between life and death is sometimes blurred....

Barrack and Brogan have memories of their death - and it isn't a pleasant one. When the goddess Aikaterina gives them a second chance at life - and at finding their true mate - they are willing to do whatever it takes to change their destiny. What they don't expect is that it would be so difficult!

It turns out their true mate is a human, a species they have limited knowledge about, from a planet they have never visited. With time running out, it doesn't take them long to realize this may be one battle that will take all of their skills to win.

Delilah Rosewater is haunted by dreams of her death. She doesn't understand why the dreams feel so real or why she knows with growing certainty that time is running out for her. Her feelings of frustration strengthen as she searches for the one person she feels could understand her increasing panic - Sara Wilson. She is shocked when instead of finding Sara, she comes face-to-face with two irritating men who claim to be from another world!

Caught in an unexpected snowstorm in the Appalachian Mountains, Delilah doesn't know what to think of the two men and their wild claims of a powerful goddess, alien worlds, and new destinies. Will Delilah open her heart to the twin dragons and accept the second chance the goddess has given them before time runs out for all of them?

***Twin Dragons Destiny***

S E Smith Dragon of the valdier series is one my favourite alien/human romance of all times.
This particular book is so special to me because I first read about the first twins and their death in the Twin dragons story and it hurt my heart that Barrak and Brogan were killed by the villagers because their dragons went mad of loneliness in not having a true mate. So I am absolutely happy to know that S E Smith decided to write the original twin dragons story. Thank you Susan.
I love that Barrak, Brogan and Delihah changed their Destiny with the help of the Goddess Aikaterina. I enjoyed this books so much and I also have it in digital format. The narrative is excellent as always David Brenin is amazing as the narrator his voice is swoon worthy *sighs* .

Heroines voice sounds too similar to earlier books

Very enjoyable in audible though narrator sometimes makes the females come across as too weak. There is also a lot of similarities by the narrator in the voices of Melina book 7, Pearl in book 10 and Delilah’s voice. Though I bought the whole series in audible I listened to this book first as it is one of my favourites. The altering of the past to right a wrong is a great plot. I had always been upset at Barrack and Brogan dying in a previous book. BOOK REVIEW Ms Smith sure can write a mesmerizing tale. Thank the Goddess Aikaterina for changing the fates of these three great characters. Oh my goodness. I feel like I’ve waited forever for this book and was so sad when I had finished it. I could have carried on reading for hours more. Ms Smith gave me everything I wanted for these two lost twin dragon brothers. A great story, a very feisty and loving mate in Delilah and a much deserved HEA. Barrack and Brogan have been in my hearts since I first read about them and what happened to them. Delilah was a lovely and wonderful surprise heroine. I loved what happened to Earl and just wish the same had happened to Ray, his family would be better off without him. If you have not read any of Ms Smiths books do yourself a big favour and get started. This can be read as a standalone but the emotions from reading this are heightened having read the previous books. This will be a reread for years to come.

Pleasant way to pass the time

Not my favourite of SE Smith's. The story wasn't all that convincing but it wasn't too bad either. I do like the stronger female characters in SE Smith books compared to other romance novels, though sexist tropes abound nevertheless.
