About this listen
The 10th instalment in all-action thriller writer Stephen Leather's best-selling Spider Shepherd series.
The Russian oligarchs are the world's new elite. They treat the world as their plaything, travelling without borders and living lives of unimaginable luxury without fear or restraint.
But when an assassin starts killing off some of the world's richest men, an oligarch with friends in high places seeks the protection of MI5. And Spider Shepherd is placed in the firing line.
But while Shepherd has to save the life of a man he neither likes nor respects, he has to deal with a face from his past.
The Taliban sniper who put a bullet in his shoulder turns up alive and well and living in London.
And Shepherd is in no mood to forgive or forget.

5 Stars, BUT, why the re-release?
Thought I'd started a new Dan Shepard book, only to realise as the book got underway that I'd purchased this book before. These latest 3 "Dan Shepard" books show up as 2020, but they are old books being re-released, confusing to say the least!
Check you have not already heard before purchase. Regardless, still a great book thou. I have not found a better team - Stephen Leather and Paul Thornley are by far my fav choice of author and narrator, and I always jump on any new book from this great pair.

Wow-this was a truly interesting story of human works after wars
It was really good. A couple of times I had to stop it for a while as it got too scary!
Super story, performance and I want to listen to more by Stephen Leather.
