About this listen

Tritcheon Hash is a satirical ride throught the sci-fi genre. In a futuristic world, women get tired of men and abandon them to stew in their juices on a rapidly declining Earth. They colonize their own planet, "Coney Island," and live in an all-female society.

Editorial reviews

Narrator Katina Kalin has a slight breathiness to her voice that she skillfully adjusts to create the voices of the different characters in this science fiction satire. Tritcheon Hash is a fighter pilot in the all-female world of Coney Island, whose inhabitants have long ago abandoned Earth to men. However, the men have recently proposed reuniting the sexes, and both sides are wondering if this is a good idea. Kalin's narrative voice is pleasantly distinct from her characters' voices, and the jaunty cadence she uses to describe Tritch's adventures lends extra verve to the story.
