General Treyvon Rayner is the Supreme Commander of the Kaliszian Defenses. He is the cousin and trusted friend of the Kaliszian Emperor, Emperor Liron Kalinin, in spite of Treyvon's ancestor being one of the causes of the Great Infection so many centuries ago. It is never far from Treyvon's mind, and he vowed he'd spend his entire life trying to make things right. Chef Jennifer Neibaur dreamed of traveling to exotic places, of experiencing different cuisines, and learning how to prepare them. Her dream came true, but at a high price. She lost her sister. Her husband died. And she was severely injured. All that was enough for her to welcome death. But for a chef to end up in a place where food was just sustenance, and never something enjoyed, was the ultimate punishment. Two strong, honorable people are both trying to find forgiveness and redeem themselves for things that were out of their control. Neither is looking for love. But if they can accept it, the forgiveness they find might be for more than just themselves.

Loved it
So I loved this story. Loved it as much as Wray and Grim. Was it too long? Possibly?! But personally it didn't make me want to not listen to it.
Jen and Treyvon had so much emotional stuff to deal with to get their happy ending but boy did t h e y deserve it and I was so glad to hear it.
I loved that Jen got to reunite with her sister Kim who fell in love with Emperor Wray.
My only gripe was that there was no epilogue other than to send Ull to Earth.
Hoping Gryff's story's is released soon because I'm certain he found a human female who will be his true mate and they are still alive. And M.K.Aiden also said she is working on his story.
But where is Call an and Rebecca's story?!! I'm dying to listen to it.

The annoying voice
i dont remember mic's voice being so annoying. But it was and in stragel to finish it.
But the over all story was great and well written and read. I LOVED how it wasn't as volger some other works are, it was classy to some extent which is GREAT. DOnt let my ranting keep you frome it it is something to always enjoy

Heartbreaking with HEA
Treyvon is a fantastic read. It has everything a broken and tortured heroine and a lonely, kind but deadly supreme commander of an empire coming together in this compelling book. I love it, the characters are diverse and Michelle you managed to craft a storyline in which you introduced so
Many characters not and still you make it so believable. I feel their pains, happiness and every other emotions that they are conveying. I have laugh so hard and cried and scream. Your narrators are fantastic in their own portrayal. I can't wait for the next book pls let it be soon :)

great story
another great story, only spoiled by the stupid sound effects, the narators did a good Job telling the story, again, only spoiled by those crazy sound effects, and what is it with the music!! not necessary and distractng.

Hope in having a true mate!
Loved this story about the General & Jen. To give them a happy ending, poor Jen had to suffer three times.
I hope we get Grif story, has he found a mate? As we were told he is an amazing pilot, so we hope he survived. I loved reading and listening to these two stories in this Series.

Cliche
This is the book formula of this genre. It is average, with nothing to make it stand out. Personally, I think there a lot better books out there, that aren’t $
