About this listen

Trent Reznor, founder of Nine Inch Nails (NIN) began creating music early in his life and cites his Pennsylvanian childhood as an early influence. Hi provided what some have called "grim and gripping" music throughout the nineties. He is a loner who likes to express himself in his individualistic and creative style. He has also contributed to Marilyn Manson. Reznor says that music was his means of escaping a small town life. A man who courts controversy, Reznor moved into the Cielo Drive Mansion, site of The Manson Family murders of 1969, to record his NIN album The Downward Spiral, which he says he chose because of location - not because of the murders. Reznor was on self destruct and even though he had fall outs with many people in the music industry, he kept and built a legion of fans. This is not a music recording by the artist or record company and sound quality may vary. His aggression is evident in songs such as hate and his fight for individualism is evident in his music. In this exclusive audiobiography we get a personal insight into what motivates him, how he is inspired and the driving force he has in his battle to produce great music. Fans, Collectors and music historians will, without doubt, be inspired by Reznors clear musical vision.
