About this listen
Treatment of Dissociative Identity Disorder is designed to be practical and useful. It is made particularly for the therapist new to dissociative identity disorder (DID) who needs brief, to-the-point guidance on how to begin working with someone with DID.
The audiobook includes many therapist-client dialogues that illustrate the techniques and strategies Dr. Ross has learned over the years.

exceptional overall reflection
although the narrator had a monotone voice the content of the book overall was
a) easy to digest
b) easy to understand
c) easy to connect with information and examples.
d) to the point with relevant
e) helpful in navigating and applying
f) relevant for therapists in process
g) useful in that it treats each personalty as individuals and works towar
h) acceptance and communication
Really found it valuable but also noted that a therapist working with DID requires versatility, diversiveness, acceptance that all personalities have a place for a reason and are part of the host . Colin Ross is clever, experienced, and astute.
Highly recommend this as an audible. No need to purchase hard copy.
