The Greatcoats - legendary heroes, arbiters of justice...or notorious traitors? The Greatcoats are travelling magistrates bringing justice to all...or at least they were, before they watched the Dukes impale their King's head on a spike.

Wow, what an absolutely awesome read
If you’re considering reading/listening to this book, definitely do it!
I found this series from a comment I read of Conn iggulden.
From beginning to the end it was a pleasure.
An amazing setting, with lots of plot twists and interesting characters, I couldn’t stop listening.
Now I’m off to listen to the next in the series!

Took me a while to get into it but I'm glad I did
It had a lot of really interesting turns and a great plot overall. I'll definitely continue the series. the performance was also great!

Decently rude but a great story and a few good plot twists and a amazing reader but sometimes it can be a bit transparent

Fun story
Bit of a mish mash wish too many things happening one after another. Honestly there's at least 2 books worth of content in this story but its fun if you don't take it too seriously

a fantastic and human grounded fantasy
the stakes do not overshadow the very human story on display here with a fantastic performance and great characters I will be reading this story again for sure

Interesting, but flawed.
It's well written, I love the setting and like the characters, but I'm docking a point for using the 'main characters spouse was killed as motivation' plot. I'll likely pick up more to see if it improves though.

Had potential but fell short.
Infallible and invincible protagonist. Death of a wife used as a plot point. Women written with very little dimension.
