Publisher's Summary
Moving in with a billionaire playboy is supposed to be some sort of Cinderella story, right? I’m supposed to be having the time of my life while living the dream.
Wrong.
When the bank took our home, it didn’t come as a surprise. The bomb was when mom told me we were moving out of Breakers Flats, away from my crew, and to a place that existed only in fairy tales - Bellevue Springs. Home of the insanely beautiful, rich, and famous.
Only, Bellevue Springs is far from a fairy tale. It’s a nightmare full of secrets, horrors, and the ugly reality of the 1 percenters, but without this move, mom and I are up sh*t creek without a paddle.
We don’t belong here - not even as the help.
I should have been prepared. I should have done my homework, so at least that way I wasn’t blindsided by Charles Carrington’s son; my new housemate.
Colton F--king Carrington.
He’s the definition of an arrogant, entitled prick, and he’s determined to make my life a living hell. Guess what, Colton? Where I’m from, you don’t start a war unless you intend to finish it, and that’s exactly what I plan to do.
You can’t take down a girl who has nothing left to lose.
We may be on your territory, but this is my game.
Warning: Rejects Paradise is a new-adult, dark-high-school bully-romance series. It features dark themes and mature content.

AMAZING
This was such a heartbreaking book, which kinda made it amazing. I love a good sad story as long as the female protagonist has a strong personality/character. I did think that she bounced back from her trauma at the end a bit too fast, but that might continue onto the next book. This does end on a cliffhanger which twists the whole plot entirely leaving you completely aghast. The narration was amazing and I definitely think that Lessa Lamb portrayed each character really well, especially when the character shifted their personality, you could really feel it in the voice used. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has read the blurb and thinks they will like it. Be warned of the possible triggers, but otherwise it is an amazing story. Enjoy!

Quickly becoming my favourite narrator!
I loved the story, I love how Ocean is tough, but still fragile. Love how there is more one person action without it being a RH (RH really isn’t my thing - I love a jealous and possessive H). The ending was slightly predictable (minus the cliff hanger) and everyone’s eyes bugging out got a little annoying, but nothing ridiculous enough that it put me off the story. Lessa Lamb is a phenomenal narrator, I love her style and it fits perfectly with this book! At times I was a bit impatient and sped the narration up but I was still able to follow it and catch all of her little quirks and changes in pitch etc.

Addictive !!
The first book in this series is pretty addictive I couldn’t stop listening got me hook line and sinker ! Less lamb did an amazing job as ocean she had the perfect voice to listen too her expressions were spot on throughout the whole book and usually only a female narrator would bore me but she kept me tuned in !
Ocean is exactly the type of female character that I love strong , sarcastic , and self assured!! Hope in the rest of the series she stays that way ! she has a lot of shit thrown her way but she comes back swinging I loved her come backs every time !!
the chemistry between ocean and Colton was on fire 🔥🔥🔥 I could feel the sexual chemistry right from the start ! the only thing that was frustrating was Colton would never give in to ocean until the very end of the book !!! and when he did give in it was magic !!
I’m onto book 2 and let’s hope it keeps me interested ! This book would have been so much better if there was Colton’s POV !! But I guess it keeps him mysterious . not sure if I love him or hate him yet ? And I have a feeling in book 2 his not going to get softer if the title is anything to go by cocky Fuc !!
Overall a fantastic start to the series and def worth a credit !!!

Felt let down
Firstly, I cannot stand Oceania's voice. I hate that after so much amazing sexual tension, there was no follow through. I hate that she felt she had such a strong bond to Colton even to be caught having a sexual dream about him to the point, Colton and his friends knew, but then slept with Charlie!! Like, it was a disappointment that everything she did was, in my opinion, a betrayal, and with the wrong person. She IS skanky. I hate that everything made her eyes 'Bug Out of Her head'. I hated the way she said 'Her boys this, and her boys that'. Just overall, a missed opportunity to some great scenes
