About this listen
In this beautiful love story of "forbidden longing" (New York Times bestselling author Penelope Douglas), a sweet young woman and a rough and tough biker are connected in a way they can’t contain—and they’ll do anything they can to be together.
When I was five years old, I told Toren Grace we were going to get married someday. He’d been my closest friend, my protector, and my rock since the day I was born. But during my senior year, our relationship slowly changed. Silly conversations morphed into serious heart-to-hearts. Innocent friendship turned to stolen glances.
Then one day, an unexpected kiss changed everything.
While that kiss was all I’d ever dreamed of, it knocked Tor clear off his axis. His strong moral compass makes it impossible for him to accept our feelings for each other. Because, not only am I eighteen and fifteen years younger than him, I’m the one person he should never, ever want.
Tor is my father’s best friend—my pseudo uncle.
Neither one of us can stand to betray or hurt my dad, but we can’t keep our relationship hidden forever. Will there be a way for us to find our happily-ever-after? Or will we all be torn apart?
Torn is book one in the All Torn Up series but can be read as a standalone novel.
Critic Reviews
"A captivating journey of forbidden romance. Torn is unputdownable and unforgettable."—Meredith Wild, #1 New York Times bestselling author
"Soulmates tangled in a forbidden, twisted situation. TORN shattered me and put me back together again. It’s not a story—it’s a ride that I never wanted to end. It takes forbidden love and angst to an entirely new level."—Abbi Glines, #1 New York Times bestselling author

A story you can listen to over and over again
This book was really well written I loved how the story just flowed their was always something happening in the story line and I thought saving the dogs was a nice touch it made things more interesting. I also liked that it went between the past and the present because it gave a better perspective on what the characters were dealing with and shed some light on the relationship as a whole rather than just when they started having strong feeling to be together as a couple.

This book gave me Renesmee and Jacob romance vibe. It’s good book but there is no surprising plot.

Very hot, sexy and great story
This story is about a God father who is Torn and God daughter who is Kenzi that fall in loves with each other just before her 18th birthday. Torn knows Kenzi from the day she was born. He was there for her when she needed to be look after when her parents where off on the road with their bands. Something happens to Kenzi's mum. But will they be able to stay together or will they be torn apart. Kenzi dad is Torn best friend. Will Kenzi's dad accept that they are together or will he not. The sex scenes are hot. 5 out of 5 from me.

Tacky
I am not a fan of tats and long hair but managed to imagine someone else as the main character. The story line is surprisingly good but the voices are not. The female suits the character but her male impersonations sound like Beavis and Buthead. The male voice sounds like something out of the 1950s. The romance scenes are well written. I'm going to give Storm, another book by this author a go.

Love story
A beautiful love story.
Not a huge fan to the narrating being read by two different people however I can see how it needs to be read like that and I got used to it

Lovely story that does push the limits.
I felt this was a lovely story, a beautiful story. Torn’s character is so loving and sweet. I did however, feel the book ended and could have given so much more, I guess a missed opportunity for the author. Having already enjoyed and loved the book about Ash and Amber. I feel there is still mystery surrounding the final moments of this book.
The message in a bottle moment was beautiful.
Definitely worth a read/listen.
