Research needed
I think the editing on this story was abysmal. There were so many glaring error in the plot as well as historical ideas. It was an American focus on English history gobe wrong. So many improbable situations- it was rather farcical. The narrator did a good job in her performance.

An interesting story
This was the last book of the 3 part Scandalous Sisters series. I found it to be the most interesting tale of the lot. I was surprised to find my preconceptions of certain character(s) shift as the story unfolded and certain unexpected truths were unveiled.
There were times were I felt frustrated by Madison’s oblivion to present threats and Ben’s obvious attempts to protect her.
All 3 books were based around 3 sisters, each with very different personalities and marriage circumstances. They all seemed mouthy and immature to varying degrees, and all rather blessed to end up with their ‘betrothed’.
Again, Rose’s storytelling is fantastic and the narration, perfection. I certainly recommend this, and the other two audiobooks (in order).

Couldn't finish
Could've been good story but so slow and too much mechanical & unnecessary dialogue. Not surprising though as I couldn't finish book 2 in the series either. Narrator also robotic. Glad it wasn't a paid credit.
