About this listen
When two people's lives are spiraling out of control, can coming together pull both of them back up?
Alexis Woods knows who she is - or at least, she thought she did. She's number 17, point guard, MVP, all-star, co-captain of the Lady Raiders NCAA Division I women's basketball team. But there's a darkness growing inside of her, a darkness that started the night her beloved died in her arms, and if she doesn't turn things around soon, the darkness just might swallow her whole.
Graham Griffin knows a thing or two about darkness. That's been her zip code ever since the car accident that took her boyfriend's life - the car accident she caused. When she meets Alex, she sees a reflection of her own sorrow. And she can't help but want to fix it.

literally the best WLW romance I have ever read
And I have read a lot! Not just a formulaic mills and boon type - has a really quite compelling plot and the characters have fully formed backgrounds, realistic strengths and flaws. LOVE LOVE LOVE this book and will throw money at this author for anything else she writes!!

How to write a review that does this justice..
Well this was an unexpected surprise! An absolutely beautiful book and so superbly narrated. There’s a quality that reminded me of American Beauty: you find yourself not breathing as the tension plays out. The characters are so fleshy and genuine that you balance precariously along with them.
A big fan of Abby Craden, I have to admit I was blown away by the narration of Angela Rysk. Her husky gorgeous voice brought every moment to life.
I listen to a lot of books.
A LOT!
This is exceptional. Enjoy!

I've listened to this book several times now and figured it's high time I left a review. Beautifully written with equally fabulous narration, this books holds my attention every time. Read /listen to it and pass along to friends to demonstrate that fiction featuring lesbian characters isn't all about simple romance storylines.
