Typical high school romance
It was slow, there wasn’t much build up. It was a feel good story.
The story was a bit flat for me but each to their own. The movie is better it cut to the chase. The book was a bit ongoing. DNF.

The narrator was amazing! Love this book. Highly recommend. Brings me back to that sweet Highschool love.

Fun and light listen
I enjoyed this story and will read the next one. Narrator’s voice is really distracting when she’s voicing the male parts though.

One of my fav books
I love this series so much. But the narrating wasn’t great, when she does the male parts they just sounds bad. And her voice can get a bit annoying after a while. But still worth listen to it, or getting the book.

Enjoyed the movie more!
Oh man, this is one book where I actually like the movie better! The characters in this book were not very likeable to me.
Peter was outright rude sometimes? And Lara-Jean treated people kind of bad, which I don’t feel like she did in the film adaptation.
Enjoyed the narration (except the voice the narrator put on for Chrissie had me wanting to fast forward parts where Chrissie spoke!)

The kind of book you want to live in... as a teen.
3.5 stars ☆
Okay, that was cute. Perfect for the cheesy rom-com teenage love mood. Peter is just... ♡ Okay? I've said it. I like Peter K.
The chapters were so short, and it was so easy to read. I really did have fun, and it felt relaxing in a way. I love how while it had romance, we also got to see about Lara Jean's relationship with her family.
Alright, I'm picking up book 2 asap.
