About this listen
A few minutes ago, Meghan Moretti's biggest concern was getting the kids' athletic clothes washed in time for practice this evening.
Now, it seems that Earth has been forced into participating in some high-stakes intergalactic reality television. All electrical wiring has been slagged, and most combustibles neutralized. Some kind of evil space rodents are appearing on the front lawn, too.
Like any parent, Meghan's first instinct is to keep her young kids safely away from the monsters, but an odd stroke of luck has her coming into some advanced information about this dangerous game. She learns that her kids will have to fight too.
What's a mom to do?
Time to Play is the beginning of Apocalypse Parenting, an apocalyptic LitRPG saga.

A breath of fresh air!
I hardly ever write reviews. In fact this might be my first one, but I can't believe only 3 people have written reviews on this before me, so I feel I had to write one.
This book was amazing and I can't wait to read the next one.
I love that so many things in this book are relatable when it comes to parenting. I like that she is strict but fair on her kids and her inner thoughts when it comes to them is something I'm sure we can all relate to.
I enjoy the fact that unlike every other similar book, when these characters gain new abilities or senses that they don't just automatically perfect them straight away, that they take time to adapt and learn how to use them.
I love the realism when it comes to the worlds population being sceptical of eachother and their need for survival overtakes the norm of being nice when meeting eachother.
I really enjoyed this book and I will be recommending it to the audiobook lovers that I know.
Thank you
