Always bet on black

Having now completed both The Red Version and The Black version, I am in love with this twisted world that Volpe and Beauregard have crafted. Volpes writing and the narration by Sierra Kline make The Black Widow a vvcharacter that you both revile and still hope to win. Both endings are quite grim in their ways, though one seems to be canonical due to its connection to an ending in the Red Version. I would highly recommend both books.
