Shane East and Vanessa Edwin are hotter than fire
I’ve devoured this duet more times than I can count, and trust me, it hits different. 😮💨🔥 This series is SO underrated — this arranged marriage mafia romance with a side of revenge is DELICIOUS. 🍽️ It ticks all the boxes: spice, plot, second chances, and tension you could cut with a knife! ✨🔥
Now let’s talk about Shane as Assassin Kyle Hunter—this has got to be one of my all-time favourite Shane East performances — he is hotter than fire, 🔥🤯 As Kyle, we get the full package: the alpha possessiveness (my heart!), the cheeky and c*cky side that is just impossible to resist, and let’s not forget the TOXIC side that has you questioning everything but also wanting MORE.🔥 Kyle is all kinds of hot, and yes, he’s toxic at times, but it’s impossible not to fall for him. 🖤 If you love Nicolai Sokolov (like I do!), you’ll see where he gets that wicked sense of humour and possessiveness—because Kyle is his DAD, and let’s just say the apple does NOT fall far from the tree and Daddy’s do it better…just saying 👑This is a must listen for Niko fans & the origin story you need in your ears! Anand if you are fan of nicknames like I am, Shane will melt you into a puddle every time he says “Princess.” 🫠
Speaking of Rai, she’s not ordinary Mafia Princess in the NY Bratva -- she's tough, tenacious, full of sass, a total Bad-ass and the bestie anyone would want in their corner. She is one of my fave Rina Kent women, and the way she took it up to Kyle, was fire!
And here’s the kicker—Kyle’s backstory is so tragic your heart will literally hurt for him. 🥺 He’s been through it all, and you can feel the weight of his past in every line. The sexual tension between him and Rai? OFF. THE. CHARTS— like I’m talking 5 flames out of 5, this is one of the spiciest duets in the Rinaverse.⚡️🔥 Their unresolved feelings? SIZZLING. 🔥🔥
Speaking of sizzling, Vanessa Edwin brought ALL the intensity, emotion, and sass to Rai’s character (and her male voices? Perfection!). She nailed every single side character too. 🙌🏻👏🏻
Honestly, this duet is perfection. I ate it up and licked the plate clean. Kyle Hunter is top-tier, one of my all-time fave Rina Kent men, and the this duet deserves all the stars. I’ll keep re-listening, and if you haven’t picked this one up yet—what are you waiting for?!

Wow
That is a cliff hanger. Can’t wait to read part two to see the history behind his decisions that he has made.
