About this listen

After the stories are done, their stories go on.

One of the great parts of writing a long, family saga is revisiting characters who have already hit their happily-ever-after. These vignettes are for characters from the Heart Falls series. They’re written specifically for listeners who have already enjoyed the main stories.

This collection contains three wedding vignettes:

  • Surprised at Bootstomp Point (Caleb & Tamara)
  • Heartfelt at Heart Falls (Walker & Ivy)
  • A Wild Horse Wedding (Luke & Kelli)
  • And the novella: Oh Baby!

Lisa and Josiah are thoroughly enjoying each other’s company. He’s got his veterinarian work; she’s been busy stepping in to help her sisters and friends whenever and wherever they need. And they have Ollie, the sweet little terrier that can’t get enough of either of her favourite humans.

But as one year ends, and a new one begins, Lisa can’t help but wonder if there’s something she’s missing. What exactly is she supposed to focus on now that her extended family is settled and all her sisters are happy?

Ollie knows....

What happens after those words THE END.

AUDIBLE REVIEW
Narrator does a great job once again.
Lovely to listen to these short and sweet extras that give us that bit more of a glimpse into the lives of characters we have come to love.

BOOK REVIEW
A treat to see what happens after those words, THE END.
I didn’t go back and reread every book first, so the small nuances are not crystal clear but each of these small, extra, after the ending pieces made my heart glow with warmth.
SURPRISED AT BOOTSTOMP POINT - TAMARA AND CALEB
Such a great sweet way for this special surprise event to happen.
Loved how Sasha and Emma were a big part of what happens.
HEARTFELT AT HEART FALLS - IVY AND WALKER
Very sweet how Walker surprised Ivy by doing what he did.
A WILD HORSE WEDDING - KELLI AND LUKE
Very spontaneous way to behave and great the wild herd was there too. Very apt for these two.
OH BABY - LISA AND JOSIAH
My favourite in this vignette, mainly due to these two being a favourite couple and Ollie of course doing her bit.
We also get a little mini story with a wonderful ending.
This is my honest review of this book which I have since bought.
