Publisher's Summary
Her past is a complete mystery...especially to her....
Juliette DuBois has no idea what happened before her traumatic brain injury. She doesn't understand why armed men just grabbed her off the streets of Toulouse, either. All she knows for sure is that she better figure out what's going on before her past gets her killed....
Retired Navy SEAL turned Iniquus operative Thorn Iverson knows that Juliette's kidnappers will stop at nothing to get what they want. But then again, neither will he. And what Thorn wants more than anything is Juliette. His gut (and heart) is telling him that she belongs with him - forever. He'll just have to keep her alive long enough to convince her of that....
With enemies closing in, can Thorn and Juliette overcome all that stands between them and their happily ever after? Or will their shot at love fade like a distant memory?

emotional mixture with no romance in this one. but scary plot
What an ugly and sinister plot. Ugh.
It didn't start out like that but the deeper I delved the nastier it made me feel.
What an sinister story. I hope Ms Quinn kept positive as she wrote this.
The mystery and betrayal runs deep and I was listening to this bubbling with anger. As much as Thorn is the H, I was a bit ticked at him for not stopping the rant one of the bad people.
The emotions that this book evoked was more than any others I've listened to, except for Lynx's capture and escape.
The plot thickened then unravelled. Past book characters popped in to confirm and affirm the story mission and it was amazing how the stage had so many players.
Great novel, awesome novel.
Aiden Snow, just awesome I love his voice.

Love Thorn and so well read!
One of my favourite books of this series, read by the unmatched Aiden Snow. I listen to many audiobooks and his narration is always on point, both in using perfect emotion and drama, as well as different voices for different characters. This is an unconventional romance, as they spend much more of the book on separate journeys than they do together but the author still makes their connection believable without a faked insta-love.

Ambivalent
I have not yet decided how I feel about this book. I enjoyed the overall story line but am ambivalent that the only sex scene in the book involved the male hero and another woman. There was no cheating in the book but he acknowledged a connection to the main female character prior to bedding another woman, almost instantaneously upon meeting her. This prevented me from emotionally connecting with the male hero, which is a must for me to truly enjoy a story. I could not root for him in his pursuit of the relationship between the two main characters. This is my personal belief and may not be an issue for other readers.
