About this listen
Penguin presents the audiobook edition of This Mortal Coil by Emily Suvada, read by Skye Bennett.
When a lone soldier, Cole, arrives with news of Lachlan Agatta's death, all hope seems lost for Catarina. Her father was the world's leading geneticist, and humanity's best hope of beating a devastating virus. Then, hidden beneath Cole's genehacked enhancements she finds a message of hope: Lachlan created a vaccine.
Only she can find and decrypt it, if she can unravel the clues he left for her. The closer she gets, the more she finds herself at risk from Cartaxus, a shadowy organization with a stranglehold on the world's genetic tech. But it's too late to turn back.
There are three billion lives at stake, two people who can save them, and one final secret that Cat must unlock. A secret that will change everything.

Great Story
I really enjoy this story, I have read the physical book before and this time had the physical book to follow along with the audio book, from about halfway through as I kept getting confused, once I had the physical book I realised I was getting confused because the reader makes regular mistakes that change the meaning of the sentence.

Great title, nique story - generic plot
Set two years into a post apocalyptic future we find our main character Bobcat AKA your generic teen in any typical romance novel stuck between a clearly impossible choice... Save the world and pick a boyfe... Saving the world was the easy part. Please read this if you are a 14 year old that couldn't understand the depth and complexity of the Hunger Games, the Maze Runner or Playschool. Cool and innovative ideas ruined by the annoying characters... This story would have been better told by someone who had to survive the plague.
On a side note... Skye Bennett did not do her best performance... The changing of pitch on occasion hurt my ears. Only while playing through my speakers. Headphone were acceptable.
Overall average at best.
