Franci and Lottie may be identical twins, but that’s where the similarities end. Franci has always been the stable one, while Lottie has bipolar disorder, constantly battling depression and mania. Deep insights

This wasn't exactly the kind of story I was looking to read next, after having just completed another very brutal tale of family abuse and neglect, but the timing is ironic with a dark tragedy having just occurred to friends of ours which this did help to provide some insights into. Also having had a very dear friend with bipolar and depression, struggling with medications etc, who took her life some years ago.. this saga laid out over decades helped me to understand a bit more clearly what she was going through when she couldn't or wouldn't explain it herself. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who knows someone struggling with these issues... if you really care, this will help you to better understand, and perhaps even make that extra effort that just might make all the difference. As it says, being loved is just not always enough and many peopls looking in from the outside just don't understand that.
