About this listen

I’m a good girl.

I live by a code that can’t be bent or broken. It is my duty to my family to stay innocent and pure. To marry an Italian man. The stars are already aligned.

But Nikolai Kozlov re-writes my destiny with five simple words.

You belong to me now.

He's Russian mafiya. A thief. A skilled liar with no moral boundaries. He is everything I have been taught to hate. A man who stands for nothing. A man who takes what he wants without a second thought.

And what he wanted was me.

He thinks he controls my fate, but what he doesn’t know is that sometimes it’s the good girls you have to watch out for.

I’m a dangerous man.

I live by a code. The Vory code. It is my duty to my family to protect the brotherhood. To destroy anyone who threatens what we stand for, including her.

She’s a dancer. A beautiful little doll. My prisoner and my new favorite puppet. This mafia princess thinks she has me under her spell, but in the end, she is simply collateral.

It’s a shame to destroy precious things.

But this is what bad men do.

love this series!!!

the fifth and final book in the BU series. I love A Zavarelli books, and i love, love, love Tracy Marks narrating. this book wasn't my favourite of the series, but it was still enjoyable nonetheless and was definitely full of the type of drama and emotion that you would expect from this series. Nikolais description was the first thing that threw me, from first hearing of him in the 3rd book, Ghost, I had conjured up a different appearance of him in my head, but I quickly got used to Mis Zavarellis vision of him. all in all, A recommended read if you love this series. you'll definitely need to satisfy your curiosity by reading this book.
POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT.......
the only part that has left me dizzy and confused is the a part in this book that corresponds with a part in Ghost, when Alexi finds out that Talia is alive, Nikolai already knows and is driving him to the hospital, but in this book, it is Alexi that informs Nikolai via text that Talia is alive. I may have gotten it wrong, but I reread the scene 3 times, and it just doesn't make sense to me. I struggle to admit this small amount of negative feedback, because this series is actually my hands down favourite, and I mean FAVORITE SERIES that I have ever read....and I have read a lot.
love your work, Hun. can't wait to see what you give us next!
