Andy Biersack
About this listen
Before he was the charismatic singer of Black Veil Brides and an accomplished solo artist under the Andy Black moniker, he was Andrew Dennis Biersack, an imaginative and creative kid in Cincinnati, Ohio, struggling with anxiety, fear, loneliness, and the impossible task of fitting in.
With his trademark charm, clever wit, and insightful analysis, Biersack tells the story of his childhood and adolescence and the discovery of the artistic passions that would shape his life, and his decision to move to Hollywood after his 18th birthday to make his dreams come true, even when it meant living in his car to make it all a reality. It's the origin story of one of modern rock's most exciting young superheroes, from building miniature concerts with KISS action figures in his bedroom to making the RIAA gold-certified single "In the End" and connecting with passionate fans worldwide.

Inspiring
only not perfect as at times the following of different threads and jumping out of a loose chronological order of things can be a little confusing.
BUT
the voice work and the way with which the book is written, is great, it is very much Andy's voice both audibly (in this case) and in how it's written. It's not a memoir whose objective is to accurately recount history which is why it does jump around a little at times, it's a book whose goal is to inspire others in their creative endeavours and it does just that with many good insights on life and how to not be a jerk.
great listen and great read!

Thank you
Love this book. I relate to a bit of what Andy went through and sympathise with him. He was so nice when I met the band last year, where I was a nervous wreck. Thank you for your music, Black Veil Brides❤

Essential
Awesome book read by Andy Biersack himself delving into his past and all life events that led him to the rockstar we all know him as today, was an enjoyable book with highlights of his career but also the struggle to achieve the dream, this makes him more human and vulnerable and relatable 10/10
Btw this is my first audible book
