Amazing storytelling
Couldn’t stop listening once I started. It captured my right from the start and held my attention keeping you guessing the whole time while making you feel everything every step of the way

Gripping and emotional
An engaging story of a parents love through nearly insurmountable difficulties. The after effects of military service seemed very real and honest. My only issue was with the rather neat ending which felt like it too quickly wrapped up and moved on, but it didn’t detract from this engaging and at times heartbreaking story.
The narration was excellent, and seemed honest and heartfelt. I’d definitely recommend this audiobook.

Highly recommend!
This was a fantastic and descriptive story, with great narration. The story was beautiful and heart breaking. It explored themes around war and death, but did so in a sensitive way.
