About this listen
Sometimes, your heart knows the truth even before you do. A thrilling family drama from one of Australia's most popular storytellers.
As she approaches thirty, dedicated nurse Ellen Sutton's life is how she wants it - well, almost. Her younger sister, Carrie, seems to have it all sorted though: a successful hair business, a devoted new boyfriend and a rosy future together. Even Ellen's brother, Bodhi, is settled with his petite, super-chill chef girlfriend, Ingrid. So why does Ellen suddenly give up her career and family for the red dust and toil of an outback cattle station? She's never run from anything before - it's new territory in more ways than one.
But Ellen can't run forever. And a family camping trip to Western Australia's beautiful Karijini country brings the three women together once again.
This trip won't be the dream camping holiday for any of them. But one way or another, it will show them the truth. The Wrong Sister is a heartfelt story about dreams, the importance of family and finding your true self.

A Heartfelt Story
Another heartfelt story from the wonderful Fiona Palmer, I felt very engaged with the characters and plot lines. Definitely makes me want to visit WA and experience some of that amazing coast line and of course the gorges and rock pools. Fiona’s writing continues to mature and I look forward to listening to more of her books.

Very engaging story
I really enjoyed this tale of family and lost love and love found again. It was a wonderfully spun yarn and very true to Fiona Palmer's style. Very good, easy to listen to, well Narrated. Thank you Fiona.

It was probably a good story
I probably would have really enjoyed this story and give it 5 starts but the narration was robotic and really detracted from the story. More natural narration would have really improved the whole experience rather than two syllable words being turned into two seperate words and everything word and sentence drawn out. I will look for more books by this author but avoid the narrator.

Okay story, awful narration
I’m not sure how I managed to continue listening, the narrator delivered this story terribly. If you are able to ignore that the storyline jumps around a bit but I found it entertaining.
