You Need This Book!
I loved the seamless mix of research, Anne's extensive personal experience and advice from other writers which is found in this book. A perfect blend of the philosophy and the practical application of writing. This book is relevant to you no matter what your writing experience. It gives you an opportunity to reflect on your process; to explore your strengths and weaknesses and best of all, to learn how to exploit them. Since finishing the book, I have built many new practices into my writing process such as allowing scheduled time for incubating ideas. This has already had a dramatic effect on my writing output. I have experienced greater flow and the confidence that comes when words and ideas play well together. I also love books narrated by the author. There is that real sense of connection with the words and content. I'm glad I found this book. You will be too.
