Great listening
Easy on the ear voice which made the storytelling all the better
A great story and well connected
It was also a bonus to have all 3 books in the trilogy series allowing a serious binge session

Great story, theme and pace.

Thoroughly enjoyable as a story and well delivered as a production
I took a punt (aka a gamble) and thought I'd try this story. And I've thoroughly enjoyed listening to this trilogy over the past week.
Duncan could have milked the storyline for another couple of books quite easily ... but instead delivered, in my opinion, something very much like an epic trilogy that was well rounded. I won't ruin it, but the ending works and it all feels wrapped up well. But I can't help wanting to hear more - darn. In that regard, it's a pity it all wrapped up, and the loose ends aren't really worth exploring. Perhaps some short stories to flesh it out or a deeper dive into this wonderful world with secondary characters, or historical or future ... there's a lot there to explore and I feel like the author did this so well. LOL - I want more of this world, but the story itself is complete. So likely I won't get it. But it looks like Duncan has other worlds to explore.
... and J.D Vance - a beautifully delivered performance for all characters. Some variations between the separate books to how characters were delivered, but not distracting and again very enjoyable all up.

Incredible performance
Story was fantastic but the standout is the narration of Simon Vance, unbelievably engaging, the pace and delivery was perfect from start to finish. Cannot recommend this series highly enough.
