About this listen
It’s one thing to read about witches, it’s another thing to discover you are one.
Glasgow law student David Hunter is drifting through life and feels something is missing. When on a night out someone tries to kill him and he discovers he is from a long line of witches known as Dream Dancers, his life is turned upside down.
Now David has unwittingly exposed himself to a world of powerful witches, clandestine government agencies, and a fight to protect the Akashic records.
Is a life filled with magick really his true calling in life?
If you love witches, magick, and conspiracy theories, you’ll love the first book in this fast-paced supernatural thriller series.

Inadequate climax
No separation between the voices of the characters. Story wasn’t exciting enough. Good concepts of magic.

Ok
I like a good story. This was ok and different. I won’t read or listen to another though, as there was a definite ‘wokeness’ to the story line. If I had have known this I certainly WOULD not have spent one of my credits.

Great mix of sci-fi and traditional sorcery!
Love this modern take on how witches and warlocks can help keep the balance of good in current times.
Only downside is it is not a stand alone book, with the end of the book feeling more like an end to a chapter.
Great story telling skills by the narrator and hope they turn more of the series in to audiobooks

Gripping Tale of witchcraft
Used for good and evil, Steven Aitchisons book was a fabulous entry to a magical world where he made everything seem entirely possible. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the chronicles 🤩

Fantastic but too short
I loved the story and keen to get on to the next one, but it isn’t a long book, so not quite the same value for money as most of what I listen to.

Didn't feel like a full book. I know there are several books in the series, but it seemed rushed. The danger was too quickly and easily resolved. I also didn't like the narrators attempt at a slight german accent for a char. Swapping W for V sounds.

Intriguing storyline
I’ve listened to Book 1 & 2 and was disappointed when both finished! Both books are intriguing - parts of the story could be written about the current world. Thought provoking and I am looking forward to Book 3.
High recommend buying the books.
