The character arcs are nicely crafted
The trilogy works beautifully and the characters maintain their continuity as they age. Seeing the intergenerational relationships makes the reader feel a kinship with them.

Couldn't get through it
With only 3 chapters to go I was going to persevere but couldn't do it to myself. Life is way too short..and there are too many good books to read!
