About this listen

In a land filled with magic and dragons, a young Blueskin girl of 18 summers survives being attacked by an old one-eyed snarcat. Blueskins are the smallest species in the kingdom, and they’re at the bottom of the evil caste system. As a result of the attack, Kisha discovers that she’s suddenly able to communicate with animals, calling on their claws and fangs when she gets into a pinch. Armed with this power, she tries to set things right and restore justice to her tiny village of Anon.

Trouble ensues when the Giants invade the kingdom. The soft-hearted forest girl is thrust into the thick of battle. She’s horrified at the violence and brutality of war. In order to save the kingdom, she’s forced to call vicious animals into the battle and do things that will haunt her conscience for the rest of her life.

Join with this gentle heroine as she sets off on an adventure that will change the course of history. You’ll root for her victories and cry for her failures. Most of all, you’ll fall in love with Kisha, Whisperer of Anon.
