About this listen

The Western Groom: A Rancher's Redemption & Love in Abilene, Texas, is a bit of a mystery and a strong love story set in the old west, in the town and surrounding countryside of Abilene, Texas. A rancher finds a woman in the desert, unconscious and dusty and completely alone. He nurtures her back to health, and through reading the bible and church attendance and the love of the rancher, she finds a faith she didn't know she had. When he eventually asks her what she was doing in the desert, she is either unwilling or unable to answer him. As they find themselves growing closer together, she knows that she will eventually have to tell him, but she's afraid that he will think she's damaged goods and cast her aside.
