About this listen

Her dream wedding has fallen to pieces…but her love story has just begun. Lose your heart to this scripted, multicast rom com featuring an immersive soundscape!

Hanna is devastated when just a few weeks before her wedding, her fiancé drops the bomb that he doesn’t want to marry her. With the wedding bought and paid for (and completely non-refundable!), she decides to give it away to a deserving couple. Hanna chooses a pair of strangers that fate seems to put in her path, and then embarks on rearranging the wedding details with the help of the new bride-to-be’s brother. As Eric helps her make the final flower selections, put the finishing touches on the cake, and fine tune the other romantic details, something unexpected starts to happen. They find themselves falling for each other. Is Hanna’s broken heart to blame for pulling her toward Eric, or is this the beginning of something real and lasting?

Short but sweet

This was a sweet story, with love and generosity
The style of narration was next level. Loved the conversational style, and sound effects.

Amazing!

Loved everything about this.

The characters were amazing, the story was heart-warming, the narration was wonderful and it felt like a movie.

Simply a marvellous audiobook.

Great narration, weak story

The production was great, and the cast really elevated an unrealistic super quick insta romance.

I had to suspend belief for many of Hanna's decisions, she had no real emotional response to her ex fiance ending the relationship. No anger, hurt or resentment, she just seemed permanently optimistic, that her positivity would overcome the horrible circumstances. Swansiger tried to explain her lack of response by later indicating Hanna's OCD made her fixate on not wasting the value of the wedding that she completely forgot to be upset. It just seemed unrealistic and implausible.

I really enjoyed both Rachel and Zachary's performance's as well as the whole cast, they were the only reason I persisted with the story. The sound effects were great and heightened each scene. I'll definitely look for more audible books which incorporates that as part of the production.

Loved loved loved

I really enjoy these multi cast audiobooks. I loved the characters and the story. It was fun and light and the perfect distraction when doing the housework/ drives etc.

Kinda sweet (but a little over acted at times)

If you feel like a bit of fluff and have a couple of hours to fill, this could be worth a listen. Nice sentiments. Generosity oozing from their pores. Who needs a fairy godmother when you have these two on your team :)

Regifted

From the beginning of this story there's a sense of heart ache. Hanna gives away her wedding when her fiance calls off the wedding. She meets Eric, the brides brother as they plan the wedding with the couple away. She calls her dad every step of the way, but she tells Eric he passed away years ago. I cried so much as her only wish for her wedding will never come true. It still has to be one of the hardest things for her to go through. The food truck...Too good!!!

Fun and sweet. Loved it!

This was really cute, a bit corny but so well acted. Wish it was longer, love an audiobook with a big cast.

A pleasant surprise

Unexpectedly great performance - one of the best narrations I've heard on Audible. The team and sound effects really brought the scenes and characters to life. The story, although not groundbreaking, was very sweet and just long enough. Well done!

I laughed and cried multiple times.

That was surprisingly beautiful. I sometimes find these types of audiobooks hard to follow (the live action type, like you're listening to a movie) but this one was done so very well!
I came for Zachary Webber, always love his narration, he has such a gorgeous voice. I loved his scenes in this book with the vendors.
I was surprised at how much this book moved me, but I've had a loss like Hannah did so that would be why.
I now have a new voice actress to follow, I will go and find books by the lady who voices Hannah. She did a marvellous job.
I would also listen to more books by this author. I've never listened to a male written romance but it was great.
No spicy scenes in this, just real love.

3.5/5⭐️ 1/5🌶️ 3/5🎧 - A short accidental meet rom

This was a super short 1.5 hour audiobook about Hanna having her fiancé call off the wedding which is in 2 weeks so she decided to give away her wedding to a lovely couple only they have to head out for work so she is left with no choice but to organise it with the brides brother Eric...

HAHA okay this had some good humor and for that reason along with making me choke up in some moments I give it a 3.5 start, I mean the way Eric was a smartass to that flower lady made me lose it... it was good one to listen to while working!!

Rachel Boston and Zachary Webber who played the main characters are great narrators and I will say that with any "Audible Original" audiobook, they are realistic as anything making you feel like you are ear dropping on a conversation haha. They have different people play different parts which is another fun thing but there is a huge amount of sound effects in the which can sometimes be super annoying!
