Set in the leafy northern suburbs of Sydney during the 1940s, The Watch Tower is a novel of relentless and acute psychological power.

Following their father's death, Laura and Clare are withdrawn from their elite private boarding school by their mother. Superb writing and Intense story.

Fascinating. An amazing insight into dysfunctional family relationships.

I did not connect with the ‘voice’ of Mr Shaw and found he was not a person I could conjure in my imagination. I now need to read the book to find his character for myself.

Looking forward to reading this book.
